We recently fitted our shop's Toyota GR86 with the Rays Gramlights 57CR wheels in gloss black. We went with the red spoke sticker to add a bit of colour to the setup. For the tires we are running a 245/40-17 Yokohama AD08R which is a 200 treadwear summer tire. These tires are over an inch wider than the factory Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires and will be a much better option for track use. Due to the wider wheel and tire, some weight gain is expected. The factory 18" setup weighs approximately 42.8 lbs while the new setup with the TPMS transferred weighs about 45.4 lbs

Compared to the previous generation, the 2022 GR86 and BRZ supposedly run a slightly narrower fitment. With no camber adjustments at all, the new setup is pretty much flush. It would definitely look better with a bit of camber and lowering which will be the next step for this build.
So far we've installed the Thinkware U1000 4K dash cam and Rho-plate tow hook license plate mount as well. For the Rho-Plate, the front bumper cover piece has to be separated to work and the painted portion does touch the mounting shaft of the plate bracket.
Stay tuned for more progress with this build and contact us if you're looking for any performance and styling modifications for your vehicle!
