The VIOFO A119 V3 is one of our favourite entry level dash cams. Perhaps calling it entry level is selling it a bit short. This is the third iteration now offering an updated Sony sensor and buffered parking recording. This means that in parking mode, you can get the several seconds before a hit and run, rather than just the events after the initial impact. Combine that with what's probably the best video quality in a dash cam under $200 and the A119 V3 clearly punches above its weight class.
This dash cam offers just about every feature you would want in a 1-channel system short of WiFi connectivity. For that, you could look into the 4K VIOFO A129 Pro 1CH which adds even better video quality!
