While the gen 1 FRS/BRZ had minimal issues with oil cooling, we found that with the new higher output motor found on gen 2 cars, oil temps got very hot on track
The Perrin oil cooler kit is designed to reduce temperatures thus keeping consistent performance and engine safety
Typical temperature drops are approximately 15-20°F at 7000RPM
Has a built-in thermostat on the sandwich plate that activates the oil cooler above 85°C
Utilizes a heat exchanger mounted behind the lower grill of the bumper
Mounted with CNC 6061 T6 aluminum brackets
Featuring in-line turbulators to stir fluid being cooled
Preassembled hoses featuring Aeroquip parts rated for 250PSI and 300°F continuous temperature and wrapped with an industrial grade pyrojacket
