Blackvue DR970X-2CH LTE Plus II

The latest successor in the lineup of Blackvue's 4K DR9xx series, the DR970X-2CH LTE PLUS II now features the Sony STARVIS 2 sensor (front) and Sony STARVIS (rear) video sensors for excellent low light video quality. Being an LTE model it has a built-in SIM card slot for 4G/LTE connectivity with cloud functions (Premium subscription required to take advantage of all Cloud features). Hardwiring kit is included to utilize parking mode with built-in voltage cutoff (configurable via WiFi app). 

We often get asked to compare the Blackvue and Thinkware flagship models. We would argue that the DR970X-2CH PLUS models has better front camera video quality but the rear camera is significantly lower than that of the Thinkware U3000 Pro which has 2K (as opposed to 1080P) and gets a STARVIS 2 sensor (as opposed to STARVIS 1). That being said, the premium price on this Blackvue model is justified by offering native SIM card support for those customers that plan on pairing their dash cam with a data plan/cloud subscription. For the vast majority of our clientele that won't use the LTE feature we believe there are better options for less money
