Toyota Tacoma Bilstein Shocks, Gramlights, Alignment

Tacoma's come with such small tires and wheels from factory, it's no wonder that one of the first modifications owners want to do are tires and wheels. However, clearance isn't optimal. To upsize tires and wheels to 275/70R17 tires, lifting the truck is required.

The customer opted for Bilstein 5100 shocks on all 4 corners, and then was able to fit on some RAYS Gramlights 57DR-X wheels and some Falken AT4W tires. The shocks offered roughly an inch of lift, and in order to maximize clearance and create a more aggressive look, the front mudflaps and airdam were removed. An alignment was necessary to make sure no rubbing happens, and the overall results were amazing. The suspension now is levelled as the factory suspension had it so the front was lower than the rear.
