After years of reliable service, the factory radio on this Sienna SE could no longer tune AM or FM so our customer was due for an update. We went with a Pioneer mechless receiver that adds Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functionality. We also took advantage of the large 7" screen and retained the factory backup camera through that display. Steering controls can be retained through the Axxess ASWC-1 or Maestro SW.
If the Sienna has a factory JBL amplifier system, the Maestro RR would be the best way to install this head unit as it offers digital fader controls while most other kits on the market do not. If you are doing a full aftermarket amplifier and speaker system however, the amp retention features of the Maestro are not necessary.
