Our customer was preparing for a roadtrip across Canada in his Toyota Matrix when he realized he was missing a key component. The factory head unit just lacked the connectivity he was looking for in 2019 and wasn't cut out for spending hours on end on the highway. Not only that but if he needs to take any phone calls, the factory radio does not offer handsfree bluetooth calling. He chose the Alpine UTE-73BT single din radio for this car. This deck features:
- Bluetooth connectivity for handsfree calling and music streaming
- USB charging and media playback
- Variable illumination to match the orange lighting on this Matrix
Additionally, as the radio is smaller than the factory unit, he also gets a neat little storage pocket just below. There is no CD playback on this mechless unit, but many customers nowadays no longer use CD's and have switched over to wireless media. There is however an Aux input that may be suitable for older music devices.
