A great upgrade for Model 3's and Model Y's that won't break the bank are shocks from either Koni or Tein. There's been debate upgrading to the factory Juniper shocks as an option (for those pre-Juniper Model Y's) but from our experience the Koni's or Tein's are better choices in both cost and ride comfort.
Installed on this Model Y is Koni's FSD (Frequency Selective Damping) shocks and they provide significantly improved ride over harsher bumps with their patented FSD valving technology. The Koni's feel more planted compared to the Tein EnduraPro's which feel a bit more soft or plush of a ride. On top of the shocks, the customer also wanted 18" winters for added ride comfort.
