2025 Subaru BRZ (ZD8) Basic Track Prep

While we've worked on numerous BRZ and GR86's, we wanted to showcase this BRZ tS that came in to do some track preparation.

The track prep included:

  • Stoptech stainless steel brake lines (front and rear)
  • Ferodo DS2500 brake pads (front and rear)
  • Brake fluid flush with Castrol SRF
  • Eibach lowering springs
  • Verus camber plates
  • SPC camber bolts and rear camber arms
  • Nankang CR-S 225/40R18
  • Track spec alignment

Even with bigger brake calipers from Subaru, the OEM brake pads don't cut it if its seeing any track use. We fitted the calipers with the Ferodo DS2500's on the front and rear, offering great brake modulation and stopping power. While we were doing the brakes pads, we also replaced the OEM brake lines with Stoptech stainless lines and flushed the brake system with Castrol SRF. (see our brake fluid comparison here and read up on why SRF is amazing)

While the factory suspension is a good base , the customer already had the vision to put in lowering springs, camber plates, and rear camber arms to optimize suspension geometry for track. We helped install Eibach lowering springs, Verus camber plates, SPC camber bolts and rear camber arms.

Before we performed the track spec alignment, we also mounted Nankang CR-S 200tw tires so that this BRZ tS is really able to take on the track.

Overall, this setup was an affordable upgrade path and allows about 4 degrees of front camber and 3 degrees in the rear. Price on this setup was roughly under $5000CAD in parts and labour.
