We had the lucky opportunity to install this backup camera/dash cam combo for the famous Hong Kong Actor, Paul Chun (秦沛). This Cayenne was a very low mileage example and didn't need to be replaced, but the vehicle's larger size makes parking in tighter spaces tricky. Radio replacement is an option but not only does this change the aesthetic of the interior quite dramatically, but a double din for this vehicle with a backup camera would cost upwards of $1000 installed.
The Avisight Pro-220 comes in at just under $500 installed and offers not only a backup camera feature but also a dash cam recording function. The video quality on this camera isn't exceptional but it still helps in the event of an accident. The rear camera has to be drilled onto the exterior of the car and has an adjustable angle. We like to point the rear camera downwards to see the edge of the bumper which is useful for visibility in tight spaces.
