With a convertible top, 2-channel dash cam options are limited and perhaps compromised. For certain vehicles, we can install a dash cam on the rear window of the roof itself, but this means that when the top is down, you'll be recording the inside of your trunk! This customer wanted us to install the rear camera of his Thinkware U1000 2CH on the windshield header which would provide a view of the interior as well as the traffic behind him while driving. This is actually a popular option for Uber drivers, but it makes sense on convertibles as well.
