This customer had a previous Thinkware U1000 2CH sold and installed by us, but unfortunately the car got written off. On the flipside, the dashcam footage saved the day as the other party claimed our customer was at fault when the footage showed otherwise. Then right off the lot, our customer made an appointment to get a dashcam installed on their brand new Mercedes AMG GT63 (4 door).
They upgraded the dashcam to Thinkware's flagship U3000 2CH and installed the accompanying iVolt external battery pack too. With most European vehicles, an external battery pack is highly recommended (sometimes we even say mandatory) to be installed as it not only extends the parking recording duration but also mitigates any potential battery draw warnings. The AMG GT lineup installation requires extra labour as they are a hatchback (sport back) setup with the fuse box in the rear.
