With the heater core needing to be replaced on our customer's MPV, he opted to go a different route which was to install a power inverter in his car which he could use while camping and to power a small space heater. We ran 4 gauge wire from the battery to this power inverter which was mounted between the front seats. The Samlex power inverter has a 1000W output which is enough to power various smaller electrical devices such as most entertainment devices.
