As of late, our shop has been receiving more inquiries regarding Japanese vehicles that need work done to meet British Columbia (and Transport Canada) requirements to become road worthy (or road legal). Most if not all cars that come from Japan don't come with tires that are DOT legal tires or have Daytime Running Lights (DRL), so extensive work is required to be completed before they are road legal in British Columbia. As a side note, dealerships are known to gouge customers with RHD vehicles by quoting absurdly high for parts and labour as parts are difficult to source.
