We fitted this 2003 Ford Ranger with our Pioneer single din bluetooth special. This customer opted to upgrade to the DEH-S5200BT instead of the MVH-S322BT. For the $30 difference, the DEH model adds CD, variable colour illumination, and an illumination wire on the harness. The wired illumination actually makes a big difference for driving at night as the radio will automatically dim when the low beams turn on. The entry level Pioneers can be set to sync by the clock, for example, dim at 6PM every day but it's not as ideal.
Installation in these Rangers can be tricky as the factory radio does not always cooperate in coming out and an aftermarket radio can be a tight fit. Single din radios are usually OK but double din requires some trimming typically. While the new radio doesn't have a CD changer, it still plays a single CD and adds USB, Bluetooth, and Aux In!
