We installed this Thinkware U3000 2CH dash cam setup on the Ford F-150 Lightning EV truck. This customer opted not to add an external battery pack but with the radar controlled energy saving motion detection feature on the U3000, we suspect he will get more than enough parking recording time. As this FLASH trim of the F-150 Lightning does not have a sliding rear glass, we are able to mount the camera dead centre for a better view.
For the tires, as our customer uses this vehicle for hunting and light off roading on forest service roads, we upgraded it to Falken Wildpeak AT4W to give it that extra bit of capability. The Lightning actually works great as a hunting vehicle as it's significantly quieter than pretty much any other truck on the market. These Falken all terrain tires are also going to give an improvement in both muddy and snowy situations compared to the factory Goodyears.
