We gave this 1996 Civic a pretty significant update for a relatively affordable price. We installed the Pioneer DEH-S5200BT CD/Bluetooth head unit and did an 18% 3 rear window tint on this coupe. This customer was previously using a portable JBL bluetooth speaker but understandably these speakers typically don't offer bluetooth calling and are hard to hear at highway speeds due to the NVH of the vehicle. Also, the Pioneer bluetooth setup is fairly automated and will connect as soon as the customer turns on the ignition. Additionally it has Spotify control so he can navigate playlists and play/pause music as he pleases.
Later models of the 6th gen Civic have a different center console which can accept a double din stereo. For those vehicles, backup camera, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are straightforward upgrades. Contact us today if you need to update the infotainment of your older vehicle!
