This Camaro ZL1 1LE bought a set of 18" Apex VS-5RS through us as they wanted a set of lightweight, fully forged wheels that could take track day abuse. Before going on sale, ApexRaceParts always guides for fitments ready to go to optimize fitting wheels onto cars. Recommendations were to run 18x11 +7 on the front and 18x12 +41 on the rear. Mounted on Nankang AR-1's, the front wheels do get awfully close to the strut, so we installed 5mm spacers to fix the situation. The wheels do have plenty of clearance for the factory Brembo big brake kit, but we also mounted wheel weights slightly more inboard to ensure clearance. Aftermarket lug nuts are recommended though as the GM factory nuts do tend to swell. Overall, this setup gives a strong track tire and wheel combo without breaking the bank, and adds a much more aggressive look to the Camaro.
