When our customer upgraded from a 2017 to a 2020 BMW X5, he needed new wheels to mount his winter tires to as BMW switched to a 5x112 bolt pattern. We needed a wheel with good backspacing to clear the large M brakes but also wide enough to support the large rear tire. We ran a 20x9 in the front and a 20x10 in the rear for a similar offset as the factory wheels.
