Unless you are running track spec brake pads, any prolonged squealing you hear from braking is a sign that the brake pads are due for replacement. It's also to note that brake jobs are usually not covered under warranty for many manufacturers. Our customer came to us as they noticed a lack of brake bite when pressing on the pedal. When we inspected, the front pads and rotors were due for replacement. You can tell when rotors need replacing when there are visible cracks on the face of the disc.
For the replacements, we went with Zimmerman rotors and pads, a supplier that makes numerous OE brake parts for European makes. We replaced only the front rotors, but replaced all the brake pads.
