BMW M3 (G80) Apex VS5RS Satin Bronze 19/20" Stagger

We fitted our shop's 2024 G80 M3 with Apex VS5RS forged wheels in satin bronze. We are running the Eibach front pro-kit spring kit which reduces the front wheel gap, the rear is still on the stock BMW springs. For our track setup this season, we are running a 285/35R19 front and 295/30R20 rear Yokohama AD09 Enduro 200 track tire. These aren't the fastest tire but they have great street manners and durability. With this wider rear tire, it does touch the body occasionally but has been fine on track.

The 285/295 combo retains a similar stagger to keep the xDrive happy. The rear tire is approximately 0.1" or 0.4% taller than the front with both a 275/35R19 + 285/30R20 stagger and a 285/35R19 + 295/30R20 stagger. On these springs, the car is sitting at -2.0 degrees of camber all around. Additional front camber would be beneficial on track via camber plate or lower control arm. To fit the 285 front tires, trimming the vents on the factory fender liner will be required. We used a custom kit to add a grille to protect the radiators in front of the front wheels.

It should be noted that due to the popularity of these wheels, we went with a 20x10 rear wheel which is actually half an inch narrower than stock but still compatible with 285 or 295 tires. Most customers will opt for a 20x11 +18 rear which will work better if there are plans to go up to a 305 rear tire. Overall unsprung/rotational mass is reduced by about 18lbs by going with these wheels which will perform better, and offer better ride/efficiency. Although the factory forged wheels are not heavy by any means, making this an even more impressive feat.
