This BMW 328i cabriolet came with a fairly basic factory CD player which sounded alright but lacked any real connectivity. With these older BMW's, an aftermarket single din receiver is an easy fit and significant upgrade. To retain steering wheel controls on these BMW's, we recommend using the Axxess ASWC-1 The JVC single din we installed adds the following features to this 2007 sports car:
- Bluetooth handsfree calling with external mic
- Bluetooth music streaming with spotify control
- 1.5A USB charging and 3.5mm aux input
- RCA Preouts for adding aftermarket amplifiers and subwoofers
We also hardwired the Thinkware FA200 front camera, typically we only do a 1-channel camera on convertibles although a 2-channel setup is possible with the E93 chassis. This dash cam has parking mode, WiFi, and 1080P recording. For this generation of BMW, a battery pack like the B124 or Cellink NEO isn't required as it won't trigger warning messages or disable comfort access.
