When our customer's father handed down this E34 BMW 5-series, he wanted to update it to modern standards. We didn't want to go crazy with this system with a flip out or floating screen as that may look quite out of place for this classic.
We chose the Pioneer MVH-S522BS as it offered variable colour illumination to match the amber lighting that BMW's are known for. Another reason he opted for this head unit was to add the Sirius XM tuner. This head unit has the direct plug for Sirius meaning you can navigate channels through the deck's interface. Other Sirius tuners can work like an FM modulator but the Sirius direct method is cleaner and offers a better signal.
