We hardwired a Thinkware F800 Pro 2-channel dash cam in this F36 435i Gran Coupe. A few things should be noted when installing in these vehicles:
- A battery pack is highly recommended for this generation and newer BMW
- The Thinkware hardwire kit is too short to reach the fuse box in the trunk so will need to be extended
- The rear camera wire must be ran through the factory grommets for a clean look
- The rear camera may need to be placed off center to reduce the amount of visible wire
