Our customer came to us right after picking up their 2023 Prius Prime for a dash cam installation. Wanting something robust yet simple to use on the daily, they opted for Thinkware's F200 Pro. We noticed that the frontal visibility is very poor on the new Prius, so we installed the front facing dash cam on the passenger side of the windshield. Otherwise, a significant portion of the driver's view would be blocked by the camera. As with our expertise, we run the rear camera cable through the factory grommets on the hatchback for the cleanest look. This also prevents water leaking onto the rear camera cable. While our customer did not opt for the battery pack, we would recommend it for this vehicle as the 12V battery is on the smaller side.
